GEAR EP 80W is a multipurpose EP gear oil with extreme pressure properties to prevent scuffing of gear flanks. Selected additives prevent foaming, corrosion, and oxidation. It is especially suited for manual transmissions and, in part, for axles where mildly EP oils are required.
